Fogarty Klein Monroe Houston, Texas INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE AND RETROFIT OF AN EXISTING TWO-STORY ATRIUM OFFICE BUILDING This prominent Houston advertising agency asked us to completely redesign the interior of a 70s-era two-story atrium office building for their new headquarters. The existing atrium was totally transformed into a new lobby/reception area. A stairway was added as a major design feature and to serve as a functional connection for both floors. The technological approach included acoustical control, specialized presentation environments, media storage, and an open, interactive work environment which lends itself to creativity and teamwork. This project was a winner in the corporate category of the ASID/Houston Chronicle Design Awards program.
