Briar Forest Crossing Houston, Texas MAJOR REDEVELOPMENT OF AN EXISTING OFFICE BUILDING The assignment was to design a major make-over of a nondescript, unattractive late-70s office building. Existing construction was demolished to the point that only the steel structure remained. A new, highly efficient window-wall system in a striking reflective blue color was employed to re-skin the building. The lobby was expanded, and all new finishes were installed. All public facilities were remodeled to be ADA compliant. The building was literally transformed into a dynamic new facility designed to succeed in a highly competitive market.
