World Headquarters: American Water Works Association Denver, Colorado RENOVATION AND EXPANSION OF AN EXISTING BUILDING Our assignment was to renovate and expand an existing building to accommodate the rapidly growing membership of an international trade association. Our design solution incorporates a circular Conference Center which links the old and new parts of the building and serves as a hub for the entire facility. A curved wall of cobalt blue reflective glass set deep beneath the addition’s sawtooth roofline brings the outstanding natural surroundings into the work environment. The new addition was designed to receive a “twin” adjacent to the entry if growth continued.
